Snail Mail

Look what came in the mail today. =X! Such a mini heart-attack when I receive mails from college. You'd be feeling the same way too if you're frequently late to classes, haha.
Hmm...lets see what's inside the mail. A letter, as predicted, lol! But wait, there are two letters? Unexpected and terrified :O!
Much relief after reading the first letter. An invitation to the A-Level Achievements & Awards Ceremony and Dinner on the 18th of June 2012. The disappointing part, the letter is not directed to me but to my parents and or family members and....it costs a whopping RM150.00 per guest :S!
The second surprise, an invitation to Parent's Day, and you've guessed it, directed not to me but to my parents and or family members again. Although these letters aren't for me, but at least it's not the disciplinary letter I was panicking earlier and that is good enough =P!

SMK Kota Kemuning Carnival Day !

It felt great to be back at my high school especially when I have two of my good friends who are also my former classmates there with me. We headed upstairs to the teachers' room and met Pn.Anna who was our former Moral teacher, followed by Pn.Ruhaizah, our former Add. Maths teacher.
Being in the teachers' room isn't as big of a deal as it did, back when I was in Form 1. After a year of college, every square inch of the school appeared to be smaller. It's a big school, but the small school boy that was inside of me had forgotten that he had grown and may soon be an adult, lol.

My classes at college usually start at 8.30am in the morning. So, when my friends and I went to the school around 7.45am, we thought, or at least, I thought that we were early and there would hardly be any students at the school. My assumptions were so wrong. =X! http://alphaeustan.blogspot.com/2010/04/assumptions-are-dangerous-xp.html You'd think that I would have learned my lesson in 2010, but I guess I forgot, =P.
The room in the photo above, used to be the SPBT room, where you return or get your government borrowed textbooks. For reasons I don't know, it has turned into the BOSS' room! My crazy thoughts would be that the best history teacher I know, Pn.Reetha has colonized the room and made it into her own hahaha!

My friends, Jing Yi, Heon and I came across an interesting booth, an arm-wrestling booth! It was a dollar for a wrestle and a win would come along with a prize (packet of sweets). Just for kicks, Heon went for it, and pinned down his opponent almost immediately but locked horns and ended with a draw. However, I would say otherwise, considering Heon was pinning him the whole entire time, xP. I regretted for not giving it a try, =/. Would have been fun regardless of the outcome.
Afterwards, we met up with our former senior, Chin Wynn who is also the Tokoh Pelajar, academically of his senior year. Along with him, was our schoolmate, Yee Ing. Had a brief chat and took some photos. =)
The photo above was at the request of Heon who had `conveniently` brought along his school uniform, haha! Here you go buddy, the photo you wanted! If this photo was undated, I would have guessed that it was taken back in 2010. No regrets for dropping by and supporting the school carnival. Can't wait for the next year.

Not Too Long Ago and Now =P

Just filling in my blog archives, here is a photo of me from when I was in Form 5, 2010, and now, at Sunway College, 2012. Shocking =O? Don't say yes, cause that would mean that you guys did think that I was fat before, lol! Just kidding. =P!

Improved Laboratories !!

The laboratories at Sunway College have been greatly improved after the long months of renovation work. There are now, much cooler air-conditioning systems with bright and white walls that create the environment of actual laboratories in chemical industries.
It feels good to wear my lab coat again after months of not wearing it. The experiments today were interesting, and one involved concentrated acidic chemicals. Because of this, we were required to wear gloves. To illustrate on the dangers of not wearing these gloves, my friend, Daniel poured a chemical, concentrated H2S04 over a piece of tissue paper and it burned immediately after the chemical was poured over it. =X! On the positive side, we gave each other glove fives. =P!

An entire month of A2 now, under my new chemistry lecturer, Ms.Chin. She has been strict throughout the month but this week, I had managed to put smiles on her face. Not sure if she likes me or hates me, but I hope I'm getting off on the right foot ;D!

Happy Chinese New Year! (2012)

This Chinese New Year reunion is definitely the best one, to date. Cousins, aunties, uncles, my family and I have all grown =S! We gathered over at Aunty Mei Ling's place in the afternoon, at Bangsar before driving off for the buffet brunch.

This is plate no.1! I had a total of 3 plates of food, but they weren't as much as you think. The reason for this `unusual` event during CNY is because I had just recovered from a fever the day before. But, don't get me wrong haha, on `usual` CNYs, I eat moderately a lot, like everybody else =P!

By the way, the buffet was at Hilton's Hotel in KL. I'd recommend this buffet to anybody if only I can remember what the place was called, haha. I had forgotten to take the Yee Sang at the buffet place, so, here is one of the Yee Sang I had xP!

Yee Sang count: 4
This is how a Yee Sang is supposed to look before anything is done to it.

This is how it looks after the crazy mixing.

This is where it goes, afterwards.....my plate =S!

I drove my family back home using my first SMART tunnel. Great CNY, there is still time, I'll go and enjoy some more. For now, Happy Chinese New Year to my readers and thanks for reading. =)

iLaserTag at i-City

Made a pact with my classmates that i-City would be our last outing till the end of our A2 examination. A pact that is really hard to, keep considering how often we have went out =S!

We had our lunch at Old Town White Coffee but, no number of tables joined could fit all 21 of us. So, there was a long stretch of tables joined together and a separate circular table. Turned on my hotspot for everybody to use, my battery life dwindled almost immediately, haha.

This being my first visit to i-City, I had no clue where the laser tag was. It is located in this row of empty shop lots. How this laser tag center survives, I'll never know. =X!

Laser tag was so much fun. The picture above shows the armory room with `light` weapons =P! Each gun has its own programmed name, so, whichever gun you take, you have to remember the name. Otherwise, it wouldn't be fun. 3 rounds, RM12 per game, I was a Phoenix, a Hawk and then a Cyborg xP! Whenever you're hit, your armor would light up brightly in white. That would mean you're dead and you have to wait for about 5 seconds before your gun can be activated again. It was awesome (Y)!

January

This year was no exception to time and January passed as fast as it did in 2011. As what I told my friends, I'm a one year old....driver. Another year to go before the P comes off. If you think this statement is funny, laugh it out loud with me hahahahaha!

Had my Yee Sang already although CNY hasn't arrive yet. I'll take a photo and upload my next Yee Sang encounter for my readers and myself. =P! Apart from that, I had gotten my RM200 book voucher. Apparently, you can spend it on anything....ANYTHING you want in these book stores:
(i)Kinokuniya
(ii)Popular
(iii)MPH
(iv)Times

I'll probably give my vouchers to my sister for better use haha. I wouldn't want to be wasting these vouchers on unnecessary purchases, unless, there really is nothing useful to be bought with these vouchers xP!
